It's a lovely hotel. Central and with exceptional staff.
The books I'm the hotel about dreaming. Needed more nights at the hotel to finish the book!

It is a lovely hotel to stay in. The room was first class, and the staff courteous and attentive. The location was both central and close to the sea.We would certainly recommend it to others.

I was not as impressed as we normally are with the hotel. We have visited four times now and this time a lift was out for the duration of the stay, the door to the toilet was cracked at the bottom and was off its runner so could not close, (room 215). The bedside lamp on my partners side did not work. The toiletries upon arrival had an opened half used citrus body moisturiser and not a full one - thus leaving me open to tampering contamination etc. I had room service out on the terrace and i asked for mayonnaise to be bought up if possible, the lady said yes but never re-appeared. The tortilla in that order had been vastly oversalted rendering it almost inedible on the exterier (interior was lovely). The Hallway carpet on second floor was filthy and in need of replacing or cleaning. The Senzone opened at 8.30pm and not a minute before - very inflexible for guests in a 5 star hotel. All in all we are looking into other 5 star options if the Amerigo does not improve. We are seriously disappointed with it and the level of service.
Bed and pillows - a great nights sleep, which is what they are famous for
Lots - see the above comments in my review. i would not recommend at PRESENT, HOWEVER i have and would again if it sorts itself out.

Excellent hotel. Very pleasant, well designed room, comfortable bed. Location couldn't be better. Staff helpful and friendly In typical British fashion, would have liked a kettle in the room!

Apart from the lighting in the bathroom and the front desk staff not knowing about the bus to the castle everything was wonderful and I would stay there again
I liked the bright rooms and the amount of space there was
The Bar staff were nowhere to be seen We waited abourt tem minutes for a drink and then we left
