The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel location is centrally located and close to a grocery store, good restaurants, deli's and bakeries, metro station, laundry place, shopping boulevard, museums, etc and half an hour's walk to Montmartre. Even though the rooms were small, they were very clean and met our needs.
Like most hotels, the food on the room service menu was way too expensive. I would have liked them to restocked the coffee bar everyday, which was not done and we had to go without coffee or had to get take away (hotel coffee too expensive).

The hotel is clean. Feels very 'homey', staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are small and the street noise can be very annoying in the morning because the windows don't keep out much noise at all. (Ask for a room away from the front street.) We only stayed in Paris for 3 nights and were never in our hotel room. The air conditioning didn't work in our room (it was february so not a huge deal), paying for the safe i didn't like(€3 per night) I never had to do that in an Irish hotel.
Clean, staff are friendly, language barrier didn't pose any problems.
Street noise is unbearable at times as windows are very thin, our air conditioning didn't work, they charge €3 per night for the safe in your room. Breakfast is too expensive. (an extra €12 per person per morning)

I loved the funky/retro decor. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean and the staff were so helpful, nothing was a problem for them.
Apart from the great decor it was close to two Metro stations and I loved being able to open the windows in our room and lean on the balcony watching the world go by below in the street.
It had a bar but not stocked with a great deal so choice of drinks was limited. Because of that we tended not to go there in the evening. It would have been nice to go and have a quiet drink there before venturing out to dinner somewhere. Not a major problem though.

An absolute delight. The only problem was the noise from the flat opposite the hotel. On the Saturday night they had a party which lasted until 5:30am-the windows wide open and the music FULL BLAST. It was too hot to sleep with the windows closed, and yet impossible to sleep with the windows opened. So, we did not sleep at all that night. That was a big drawback during our trip.
Clean, spacious rooms with very helpful staff.
