Pamukkale (800 metres) - meaning 'cotton castle', ancient tectonic movements created a number of hot springs which, having reacted with the stone, has left thick white layers of limestone and travertine cascading down the mountain slope, making the area look like a spectacular fortress of cotton or a frozen waterfall.
Hierapolis (1.5 km) - a UNESCO world heritage site, this ruined city dates back to the 2nd century. Today an archaeological museum exists on the site and details its varied history.
Denizli (20 km) - this small industrial city is the largest in the province. Neat and attractive, there is a modest but popular shopping and nightlife selection.
By Air:
From Çardak Airport (60 km)
- Taxis, buses and 'Dolmus' services connect the airport with Denizli.
- From here, you can take either a taxi or a Dolmus to Pamukkale (the latter depart every 15 minutes, daily). Inform your driver that you wish to go to the Pamuksu Hotel.

The Pamuksu Hotel consists of 51 rooms.
Among other facilities, all of the rooms are equipped, among other facilities, with fire alarm and central heating. Views of either the gardens or the calcium travertine are available.
Half board consists of a buffet style breakfast and dinner. A selection of Turkish and vegetarian cuisine is available, served either outside (capacity 300) or in the restaurant (capacity 250).
For beverages, there is a US themed bar, a poolside bar and a vitamin bar.
