An ideal location for a Sardinian holiday, Palau offers beautiful scenery and beaches and few crowds during the spring (April-May) and autumn (October-November).
From June until September, Palau features a rich calendar of cultural events and festivals. Near the Emerald Coast, Palau has currently become a popular tourist area.
From La Fonte Vecchia you can easily reach the lovely and well equipped beaches of Sciumara (5 minutes away) and Porto Pollo (also known as Isola dei Gabbiani).
Palau is well connected by ferry to the popular La Maddalena Archipelago (a 15 minute ferry ride). Here you can travel to the islands of Caprera and La Maddelena where you will find gorgeous beaches and crystal clear waters.

Palau is on the north east coast of Sardinia.
If you are coming by ferry from Genoa, Naples or Porto Vecchio (Corsica), the hotel, which is located in front of the tourist port, is within 2 minutes walking distance.
If you are coming from Olbia by ferry or plane, journey times vary between 25-35 minutes depending on traffic, following the directions for Palau on SS 125.
