Neum is a resort on the Adriatic coast in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is in fact the only seaside resort in Bosnia and Herzegovina. All motor traffic between the Croatian towns of Ploče in the north and Dubrovnik in the south passes what has been known as the Neum corridor, a 9 km long stretch of Bosnia-Herzegovina territory. Sometimes your passports are checked, sometimes not. With its long and warm summers and short and mild winters, Neum is considered to be one of the seaside towns with the greatest number of sunny days in the year.

The geographical position of Neum is very convenient for tourists because of its proximity to the major tourism destinations in neighbouring Croatia (Dubrovnik – 60 km, Korčula – 70 km, Ston – 30 km) and in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Mostar – 70 km, Medjugorje – 50 km, Hutovo Blato – 30 km). Excursions to some of those places (half day or whole day) can be booked. Other activities include photo safaris on the Neretva river, visits to rural tourism households in the hinterland of Neum, birdwatching, sports and recreational activities, visits to vineyards and vintage, to olive and tangerine plantations.

By car:
From the hinterlands:
- The only land connection Neum has to Bosnia and Herzegovina is through the hinterlands towards Hutovo.
- A narrow 2-lane road winds through the hills.

From Mostar (77 km):
- To enter Neum via the main coastal road (E65) you must first enter Croatia.
- From Mostar, take the E73 road, which will take you into Croatia at the Metkovic border crossing.
- At the end of the E73, turn left onto the E65.
- This will lead you back into Bosnia and Herzegovina after passing Klek, a tourist settlement.
- Neum is 8 km from the border crossing.

You will pass the Tourist Information Centre when entering from this direction. Open during the summer months, they will be able to direct you to the hotel, which is 500 metres from the town centre.

By air:
From Mostar Airport (70 km):
- A taxi will cost approximately BAM 10 (EUR 5).

From Split Airport (185 km):
- A taxi will cost approximately BAM 24 (EUR 12).

By bus:
From Sarajevo (190 km):
- The Sarajevo - Neum bus leaves every day at 07:15.
- A one-way ticket will cost around BAM 34 (EUR 17).

From Mostar (77 km):
- The Mostar - Neum bus at 08:40 (Saturdays only), 09:10, 12:45 and 17:45 (not Saturdays).
- A one way ticket costs around BAM 8 (EUR 4).

Both EUR and the convertible Marka (BAM) are accepted at the hotel.
