The microclimate ensures an enjoyable stay during summer as well as during winter.

In our cozy salon with an open fire, you can enjoy an appetizer and/or read a book of our library. On arrangement, the salon can be used as meeting room for 12 to 15 persons.

Our hot-spot allows you to surf on the web in a range of 350 m around our hotel!

All our 12 rooms are spacious and cozy, and offer the modern comfort a traveler expect, in the middle of a green area. In addition to the facilities listed, the rooms also feature internet connection(wifi).

El Romeral offers ten rooms and two suites all situated on the ground floor.

Every room has been furnished differently.

The hotel’s own on-site restaurant offers a wide range of delicious Mediterranean dishes and traditional local specialities. A comprehensive wine list offers a selection of Spanish and international wines to complement your meal. The Spanish wines are specially selected by the maître d'hôtel, who is always willing to offer a personal recommendation or provide advice when selecting a wine from the list to accompany a particular dish.

Guests can enjoy a snack or some tapas out on the bar’s extensive terrace, choose the fixed price set menu, or dine a la carte. Every menu is prepared with great care by the hotel’s chef, who is famous for giving his personal touch to every plate. Snacks are available from the bar alongside a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Minisafaris and mountain biking are a small example of a large variety of possible activities at ‘El Romeral’.

Cuenca: is the cultural capital of the Province Cuenca and has a lot to offer. The old town is breathtakingly beautiful and pleasant. Several
museums can be visited. Certainly worth a visit !

Mushroompicking: during the months of September-October-November people from Spain and abroad come to search and pick mushrooms. Regular mushrooms as well as "setas" and "misperas" are picked.

Mountainbike : bikes can be rented at the hotel. Beautiful tours can be made in the vicinity.

Walking : maps can be obtained at the reception of tours of the roman roads as well as roads followed by pilgrims on their way to santiago de compostela. Montegudo de las salinas is the junction of the pilgrim roads from valencia, alicante and murcia to santiago de compostela!

Carnival : in every small village carnivals are kept in the most varied dress codes.

Semana santa : during the holy easter week, on the exception sevilla, the greatest procession of spain is paraded in cuenca. There is a huge crowd and a real spectacle to watch.

Fiestas : from june to september festivities flooded by food and drinks are organized in all the villages of the area. In these "fiestas" one can enjoy the beautiful spanish dances with exclusive orchestras.

Water sports : on the water reservoirs of alarcon and contreras there is a possibility of surfing or sailing in the middle of a stunning landscape
