Ideally situated within the picturesque and historic Castlefield canal basin, the hotel is conveniently located for exploring the delights of the city centre by foot, or jump on the free shuttle bus which stops outside the Museum of Science and Industry opposite the hotel. Our central city situation also provides easy access to both the Manchester United and City football grounds, the Imperial War Museum, the Lowry Arts Theatre and a wealth of theatres, bars and restaurants. The Trafford shopping centre and entertainment complex is also within easy reach and Manchester airport is only 15 minutes away.

Travel information

From m62 j12 onto m602 signposted 'Salford & Docks'. At end of m602 follow a57 to Manchester (Regent Road. Look for signs to 'Museum of Science and Industry', turning left onto Water Street. At first set of traffic lights turn right into Liverpool Road and the Castlefield Hotel is on the right hand side.
