Area information : The Grc Zapolje can be found in the "IOC" zone of Zapolje, in the industrial area of Logatec. The city of Zapolje is located some 30 km in south-westerly direction away from the Slovenian capital city of Ljubljana. In the area you can find the remains of an old Roman fortification, the birth house of one of Slovenia's greatest writers, Ivan Cankar, the Logatec cave, the Postojna cave, the natural park 'Rakov Škocjan' and the Cerknica karst lake. There are also plenty of sports activities to be enjoyed in the area. |
