Great Trethew Manor

Great Trethew Manor has been under its current ownership for the past 28 years. The owners take great pride in their long tradition of providing a friendly, welcoming home-from-home service. Over the years, the hotel has been refurbished with antique furniture and fittings to suit the age of the property.

The hotel offers a wide range of rooms, including superior and standard 4-poster en suite rooms with baths. There are also 3 king-size superior rooms again with en suite bathrooms with baths. The standard double, single and twin rooms are en suite with showers only.

All of the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with all the comforts and facilities you need for a relaxing stay. A DVD player is available on request. Every room is furnished with antique furniture and a lot of the rooms have recently been redecorated

The hotel’s restaurant offers an extensive and varied à la carte menu, which includes a number of exotic steaks including zebra, bison and springbok. The restaurant is open 7 days a week, from 18:30 to 21:00. For guests arriving late, the hotel can always offer sandwiches and light snacks on arrival.

Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 09:00, Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 09:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. There is a large buffet breakfast table with a range of options to choose from, followed by a generous full cooked English breakfast.

Great Trethew Manor is an ideal place to stay for visiting Cornwall, Devon and even the Dartmoor. We are only 6 miles from the Historic Fishing Village of Looe and about 18 miles from the well-known Eden Project. If you are wanting somewhere quiet and different to visit, we always suggest the forgotten corner of Cornwall, Whitsand Bay, Cawsand and Kingsand with a wonderful beach, restaurant and very local shops.

By Car:
- From the A38 (Plymouth), please follow the signs for Liskeard.
- You will travel over the Tamar Bridge and through Saltash Tunnel.
- Upon approaching the Carkeel Roundabout, take the 2nd junction for Liskeard.
- Follow this road through Landrake and Tideford Village.
- On the next roundabout at Trerulefoot, take the 3rd junction for Liskeard.
- Follow this road for approx 5 km (3 miles).
- Just after Castle Air, you will approach a small hill, of which you will need to take a left hand junction onto the B3251 for Looe.
- Follow this road for approximately 400 metres (one quarter of a mile) and Great Trethew Manor can be found on the left.

Payment Information:
At the time of booking, Great Trethew Manor will charge your credit card for the full cost of the 1st night of your stay. The balance for hotel guests will be due upon departure. The balance for self catering cottage guests will be due on the day of arrival.

If you wish to make arrangements for an alternative method of payment (cash on arrival, or a different credit card), please state this in the 'Requests' section at the time of booking.
