Lipari, known to the Ancient Greeks as Meligunis, is the largest of the Aeolian Islands. Once a well known trade centre for obsidian, it is renowned today as the main centre for pumice stone.

- From Lipari Port walk along the main street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, to the end.
- The hotel is located a few steps away from the centre and is only 2 minutes walk from the tourist port of Marina Corta.
