Since 1951 there is a miniature train (the park train) running around lake Au.

By car:
Via Motorway A9:
- Exit the A9 at Leipzig-West and continue on the B181 towards Leipzig. Follow the B181 for about 6 km and turn left onto Schönauer Landstraße (after crossing the
Saale-Elster canal).
- At the junction, follow signs to Astral Hotel. Stay on
Schönauer Landstraße for about 1.5 km and turn right onto Heinrich-Heine-Straße.
- Follow this street for about 700 metres and then turn right onto Südstraße. Take the first left onto Fabrikstraße, where you will find the hotel on the right hand side, after about 300 metres.
By public transport:
Coming from the train station:
Take the train line number 7 towards Böhlitz-Ehrenberg and exit at stop Barnecker Straße. Follow this street until you reach Fabrikstraße. You will reach the hotel in 10 minutes by foot.
