The fact that it is very well connected to the mainland via the modern Krk bridge makes this island even more accessible and attractive, while for those who decide to arrive by plane, it is useful to mention that the Rijeka airport is actually located on this island. The Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady is a significant architectural monument in the town, while the 2 storey Romanesque basilica St. Kvirin with its construction is one of the most unusual churches. Other sights like the Frankopan castle, bishop’s residence and palace reveal secrets of long ago.
The blue flag beach is well equipped with changing cabins and showers. Pedal boats are available to rent.
