A great place. Highest recommendations for its location and quiet street in the
midst of much movement and traffic of Sultanahmet. Now that the wireless is
working, you can even manage to stay in touch by e-mail more cheaply than
calling and even get some work done, if that's what you have to do.
One of the
best values for money anywhere.

the rooms were very big, though a bit dark. The location is excellent if you

Sultan Ahmed Mosque (100 metres) - built between 1609 and 1616 by order of the Sultan Ahmed I, after whom it is named. It is commonly known as 'The Blue Mosque' due to its striking interior blue tiles.
Hagia Sophia (50 metres) - constructed between AD 532 and 537, this superb survivor of Byzantine architecture is often considered one of the greatest and most beautiful buildings in existence. It is now home to the Ayasofya Museum.
Basilica Cistern (70 metres) - the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns that still lie beneath the city of Istanbul, capable of holding up to 80000 m³ of water.

From Atartuk Airport (13.5 km):

- Take a tram in the direction of Kabatas.
- Get off at Sultanahmet.
