The Tashkonak Hotel is a tastefully restored 19th century mansion, featuring 32 rooms with contemporary decor in rich colours, hardwood floors and wooden Ottoman-style furniture.

Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant, overlooking the Bosphorus, with boats jutting their way to the Marmara Sea, a wonderful introduction to the bustling city. By Car:
From Ataturk International Airport:
- When you leave the airport, look for the Sirkeci sign and turn right.
- Follow the coastal road to Sultanahmet (15 km).
- Turn left from Kennedy Caddesi into Aksakal Sokak.
- Proceed 200 metres and turn right into Kucukayasofya Sokak.
- Proceed 2 further blocks and turn right into Kapiagasi Sokak.
- Take the 1st left and you will see the Hotel Tashkonak on Tomurcuk Sokak, on your left.

From the Harbour:
- Exit the Eminonu area to the east and follow the coastal road in the direction of Ataturk International Airport.
- Turn right off Kennedy Caddesi after the 4th set of traffic lights (follow signs for Sultanahmet) into Aksakal Sokak.
- Follow the remaining directions as outlined above.
