The Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park is in the direct vicinity of Hotel Hellendoorn. This magnificent nature reserve is ideal for cycling and hiking to your heart’s content. You will be overwhelmed by the peace and tranquility of the park. You can enjoy the sand drifts, heaths, dense woods and the lighthouse at the top of Hellendoornse Berg.
The fascinating Hansa towns of Zwolle, Deventer and Oldenzaal are just a short distance from Hellendoorn. You will find plenty of shops and museums in these towns. You may also like to take a trip to a castle or manor house in the vicinity of Hellendoorn.

Hotel Hellendoorn is very easy to reach. By car: From all directions take exit 28 at Rijssen, on the A1. Via Nijverdal you will arrive at Hellendoorn. Follow the signs "Avonturenpark" and before leaving town you will see the street Johanna van Burenstraat on your left hand. By public transportr: The NS Station Nijverdal is only 3 km away, from here you can take a (train) taxi to the hotel.
