Dom Muzyka

Dom Muzyka means, in English, The Musician’s House. The hotel is situated in the 19th century buildings of the Academy of Music. The complex is just 400 metres from Gdansk’s beautiful Old Town and is also conveniently located for arriving via public transport. The hotel is 2 km from the train station and 12 km from the airport.

The hotel has 87 en suite rooms. Some of the rooms are air conditioned.
A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are all available upon request.

Long Street and The Long Market are the ideal place to begin sightseeing in Gdansk, admiring the Old Town and its surrounding streets. Do not miss St. Mary's Street, which leads from St. Mary's Church to the medieval St. Mary's Gate. The street is one of Gdansk’s real gems.

Crane over the Motlawa River (0.8 km) - The crane once played a dual role as a port crane and as Gdansk’s city gate. It has been in its present form since 1442-1444. The machinery of the crane is driven by a huge wooden wheel inside it, which was powered by men walking on it, like a giant hamster wheel. The crane was not only used to unload and reload cargo, it was also used to put up ships’ masts.
