On foot, you can reach many museums and churches that are jewels of architecture in the city. The centre is famous for shopping, with excellent stores and boutiques. You can also reach the outskirts of the city fairly easily, by taking an excursion to Chianti-Siena-Pisa. A bus also will take you to the local outlets (if you wish), where you can find designer items at reduced prices. There are also local tours within the city by foot or bus, as well as private car.
