Q Which Low Cost Airlines?
A
EuroBookings acknowledges all airlines that meet the following criteria:
  • Direct flights (from A to B)
  • One (service) class concept
  • Bookable via Internet
  • Web fares per flight sector
  • Offering ‘paperless’ tickets or e-ticketing
  • Payments by Visa, Mastercard or American Express
  • Confirmation of booking in English
EuroBookings automatically adds all new routes and low cost airlines to stay up-to-date constantly.
Q What destinations and routes?
A
EuroBookings offers all flights and the destinations of low cost carriers operating from and to your chosen Area/Country and its border area.
EuroBookings shows you the lowest fares and available seats on the dates, destination and routes you selected. Therefore, allowing you to select from all options, your personal best choice for your out- and inbound flights, either based on price, schedule or airport of departure.
EuroBookings automatically adds new routes, destinations and airlines and is therefore always up to date. Airlines ending their operation all together are removed. Routes not being operated anymore are removed as well.
Q How do I know which airline operates the flight?
A After you made your flight(s) selection, proceed to the next page and EuroBookings shows you, besides the cost summary, the name of the airline(s) and flight number(s).
Q Why is EuroBookings not showing traditional airlines (yet)?
A
Traditional or so called ‘full-service’ airlines, do not (yet) offer all their web fares based on a one-way sector, nor do they support e-tickets on all their destinations.
Their promotional fares are offered irregularly and are mainly based on a roundtrip, often under (too many) specific conditions. They also charge extra fees for reservations- and/or ticket costs.
Their conditions and fares, therefore, can not be compared the same neutral way as EuroBookings shows all the low cost options.
However, there are clear indications that they will gradually change their pricing policy and structure in the near future, in order to compete with the so called low cost airlines.
In case similar routes, price structure and ticket conditions are offered, EuroBookings will add these flight options to its content, offering you a wider choice next to additional advantages these airlines may offer.
Q Why a cancellation insurance?
A
Low Cost airlines do not offer standard cancellation policies and often do not refund you in case of a cancellation of your booking.
EuroBookings, in cooperation with one or more insurance companies, therefore offers you the possibility to be automatically insured.
EuroBookings cooperates with International insurance companies and, based on your selection, will automatically calculate the fee for your cancellation insurance, which you can book on-line.
Q Why not automatically a travel insurance?
A The variety of national laws regarding travel insurances makes it impossible to offer a standard travel insurance for EuroBookings international clients.
However, after you have received the confirmation of your booking, EuroBookings offers you the possibility to acquire travel insurance in accordance with your profile and personal choice.
Q Why e-tickets?
A
All the information about your reservation is stored in the airline(s) database and generates a personal reference number, making a paper-ticket redundant. After the confirmation of your booking(s), you will receive (a) reference number(s), which is(are) your e- or paperless-ticket(s).
When checking in at the airport, you will be required to show the reference number(s) together with your passport. Some airlines may additionally ask for your credit card.
Advantages of e-tickets:
  • one can not loose, nor forget ‘e-tickets’;
  • no collections of tickets at your travel agent or the airport anymore;
  • no extra costs for issuing, delivering or collecting of these tickets.
Note: Exchange of e-tickets is not possible, neither between the low cost airlines, nor with the traditional airlines, nor can they be transferred to other passengers.

Concept

Q Why can’t I choose an airport as my destination?
A
In our EuroBookings concept we specifically decided to either have a city or place selected as your destination, rather than the name of the airport. Many Low Cost airlines operate to and from regional instead of commonly known main airports. Selecting a city or place will give you more flexibility and a broader choice of flights, prices and schedules to choose from.
Example: The airport of Girona (Spain) is considered by Ryanair as destination: Barcelona. Selecting Barcelona, via EuroBookings, will therefore show you Girona as one of the options.
Q Why can’t I find a certain destination?
A
If this specific destination is not listed in EuroBookings, it means that it is not (yet) serviced by a Low Cost Airline from your selected Area/Country.
For flights to destinations not listed in the various EuroBookings websites, we recommend using other websites, such as www.flylowcost.com, or your local travel agent / website.
Q What do you mean with Area/Country Plus?
A
EuroBookings has defined specific areas of departure in each of its websites, because many Low Cost airlines operate from regional airports, which may not be very well known by the general public.
Showing all possible cities/airports of departure from your selected Area/Country and its border area, offers you more flexibility, a wider range of choices, possible price benefits and avoids you performing multiple searches.
The same applies for your chosen destinations, where EuroBookings may present you an alternative city/airport in the vicinity of your selected destination, even when this alternative airport is in another country (e.g. Bratislava and Vienna).
The possible price differences or more convenient schedules may well be worth it to choose for this alternative destination!
Q Can I combine more than just one destination?
A
Yes you can. Using the various EuroBookings websites and their different Area/Countries of departures (see eurobookings.com), you can select and book (unlimited) different flight sectors, thus creating your personal itinerary and/or even create your custom made “Low Cost Airpass”.
Example: From London to Barcelona, from Barcelona to Prague, from Prague to Amsterdam, etc.
Q What are “all-in” fares?
A
Almost every Low Cost Airline advertises their so called lowest “as from” fares, based on a one-way sector and without the guarantee of available seats. Once you enter their individual websites and execute their search & booking procedures, you will be faced with many “hidden” extra’s, such as additional fees, taxes and credit cards fees, often only mentioned at the very end of the booking process. All these extra’s differ between each of the low cost airlines, making it nearly impossible to compare between the airlines.
EuroBookings therefore immediately shows you the exact “all-in” price (summary of all costs and fees, including the credit card costs, for all passengers together).
EuroBookings is the only product making such a complete, fair and neutral comparison possible, without manipulating the total costs of the airlines.
The fares of low cost carriers are based on their constantly changing “load factors” (number of booked seats) on each of their routes and dates. These changes can happen any time.
EuroBookings shows you the lowest “real-time” and actual available fares of each and every airline at the time of your request.
Important: When you selected more then 1 passenger, EuroBookings shows you the above summary of all costs for all passengers on each and every airline!
Just click the “all-in” price or the (i) symbol for a detailed summary.
PR Aviation’s handling fee is mentioned separately.
Q Why do you show Bratislava when I chose Vienna as my destination?
A
EuroBookings searches and finds all airports in the vicinity of your chosen destination, even if it is located in a different country. This allows you to a wider range of choices, possible price benefits and avoids you performing multiple searches.
In this specific case we “connected” Bratislava to Vienna, since the distance between these cities is only 50 km’s with regular train/bus connections between them.

Payments

Q How and when does the payment takes place?
A
With VISA and / or Mastercard credit cards..
This, because of our international customer base and the fact that these two cards are generally accepted by all airlines, without exceptions.
After verification of your personal credit card details, the payment(s) are sent to the various suppliers via a secured environment. Please make sure you complete these details correctly to avoid disruption of your booking process.
Important: The balance on your credit card must be sufficient to ensure the payment of the total amount
Insufficient credit may lead to only a partial payment of your booking, which is not refundable. For the unpaid part of your booking, you will have to restart the process from step -1.
Please be aware that your credit card be valid up to the date of your return flight, since some airlines only charge your account shortly before the actual date(s) of departure(s).
Q Can I book without a credit card?
A No. Without a valid credit card, EuroBookings can not facilitate your bookings.
Q Can I make a booking for someone else with my credit card?
A It is possible to make the reservation and pay for other person’s traveling.
Next to the passenger(s) details, your own personal data must then be entered under costumer, billing and payment details on the EuroBookings confirmation page.
Q Is my payment secured via EuroBookings?
A
To avoid unauthorized access, ensure data integrity and guarantee the proper use of your information, EuroBookings applies current “state of the art” Internet security methods and technologies.
To protect your personal data during the booking process, EuroBookings uses “Secure Socket Layers” (SSL), which encodes the transactions between you and EuroBookings. The data is inaccessible to third parties and your payment details are thus secured.
A ‘lock’ icon is then shown in the status bar of your browser on the secured page. Most browsers support SSL. In case you have any doubt, check your browser information with your Internet Service Provider.
Q Is my personal data protected?
A
EuroBookings acknowledges its firm belief in protecting your personal data and only transfers the data to the suppliers in order to realise your booking(s)
EuroBookings will not sell, nor use this information for other purposes then for the payments as described above.
Q Can exchange rates differ when converting currencies?
A
In case you have booked flights to or from destinations using a currency other than the one applicable for the selected Area/Country of departure, minor exchange rate fluctuations may occur in EuroBookings presentation of the “all-in” fares, due to the current currency exchange rate.
EuroBookings updates the exchange rates on a daily basis and uses the latest applicable exchange rates at the time of your booking. The final amount charged to your credit card may, therefore, show a minor difference.

Procedures

Q How can I book a return flight?
A
Enter a return date on the EuroBookings main/welcome page.
On the page where EuroBookings shows you all the flight options, you will first see all the outbound flights, followed by all the return flight options.
First select your best outbound flight, before you select your return flight.
EuroBookings offers you the unique possibility to select and thus combine 2 different airlines.
Please check your selection carefully, since the cities of departure and arrival may differ.
If you want to fly back from a different destination or even country, first book your one-way flight from your Area/Country of departure and proceed to the eurobookings.com site to choose the Area/Country from where you would like to book your return flight.
Q Can PR Aviation i.e. EuroBookings assist me with my booking?
A
EuroBookings has specifically been designed as a user friendly “self-service” tool, without charging you the high fees most travel agents do.
PR Aviation BV is not a travel agent and can not assist you in making reservations other than through their EuroBookings website.
For groups with more than 7 passengers, or passengers with specific needs or individual care, we recommend you to contact the airlines directly.
Q What does “Not Confirmed” mean on my flight confirmation?
A
The “Not Confirmed” message can mean that:
  • the airline’s response time to confirm your booking took too much time
  • the time between your selection and actual booking/payment process took too long
  • the credit card was not accepted
  • a technical problem occurred.
As a consequence, your booking, or a part of it, was not confirmed and no payment took place either. You will have to start over to book the non-confirmed part of your initial booking.
Q How can I change a booked flight?
A
Depending on the low cost airline, you can either use their website directly, or go via their call centre to apply a change (e.g. passenger information, dates, destination, etc.) to your reservation. These changes, if approved by the airline, are not always free of charge.
In order for the airline to process your change, you must have your “reservation number” (e-ticket) at hand.
EuroBookings was not designed and, therefore, can not be used to make changes to your original booking, nor can PR Aviation assist you in these matters.
Q How long in advance can I make my booking?
A
When making your booking well in advance, you will have more chance to get the cheapest fares and to choose out of a wide range of flight options.
However, most airlines introduce their schedules for the winter and summer season 6 months in advance.
  • Winter season – October through March
  • Summer season -- April through September
Note:: If any schedule changes occur after you made your booking, you will be informed automatically by the airline(s) via e-mail.
Q Why are the fares changing regularly?
A
Web fares can practically change at any given time and are defined by each airline according to their various business models. For the cheapest fares, the airlines allocates a certain (limited) number of seats. Once they are booked, they move up to the second cheapest fares and so on.
In general we can state that you get the most benefits, the earlier you book.
Q Can I book the extra services offered by some low cost airlines?
A Some airlines offer extra services, such as choice of meals, extra leg space, the possibility for on-line ‘check-in’, etc.
These extra’s must be booked directly with the particular airline(s) (your reservation code i.e. ‘e-ticket’ will be required) and can not be serviced via EuroBookings.
Q What if the airline on which I booked my flight(s) stops operating?
A In case an airline ceases to operate certain routes, or completely stops operating its services, you will be directly notified by them and via e-mail. Either alternative flights or a refund of your ticket(s) will be proposed.
EuroBookings, however, can not guarantee this, nor can it be held responsible, since EuroBookings does not act as a representative of the airlines. See also: Why a cancellation insurance?
Q Why is the site not working?
A EuroBookings entirely depends on the various Internet based technologies used by the low cost airlines. All these websites are maintained regularly and can be inaccessible for a short period at the time of your search and/or booking. Also EuroBookings needs to be updated and maintained regularly, in which case we show a message. This interruption will mostly not last more than 30 minutes. EuroBookings is, in principle, accessible every day of the week, 24 hours a day.
Q Why am I unable to use the EuroBookings search & book engine?
A
The use of an older or previous version of the browser may cause this problem.
We recommend minimally using Netscape or Internet Explorer versions 4x, or higher.
Also, the security settings of your network or PC (security levels, firewall, Proxy servers) may block certain EuroBookings pages from being displayed.
Q Why do I get, whatever I do, the same page displayed?
A
This problem can be caused by the “settings” of your browser. Initially it will try to retrieve the page(s) from your ‘temporary internet files’ on your PC, in case you have visited us before. This can easily be solved by instructing your browser to always look for the latest version of the web page on the internet.
If you do not know how to change these “settings”, please contact us and we will send you some brief instructions.
Q Why do I repeatedly get the booking/order page?
A
As soon as you clicked on the “agreed” button on the order page once and you do not get the confirmation page displayed (may take up to 2 minutes), but instead the order page is displayed again, you probably did not enter all the details correctly/completely, or you forgot to check the boxes concerning the general conditions.
The ‘error’ messages are automatically presented inred’ where the error was detected. Scroll down the page to find any of these messages, if necessary.
