Admire the beautiful leaded glass window and old tapestries, historic chairs, exquisitely set tables and the gallery’s wrought-iron landing featuring a charming blossom motif. The former dungeon in the Nikolaiturm tower is a particularly appealing location for groups. The 2008 Gault Millau awarded the restaurant’s chef de cuisine with 1 toque and 14 points.
The Zwinger restaurant tempts you with typical regional cuisine and Thuringian specialities. Expect Bavarian and Thuringian hospitality at their finest and soak up the cosy atmosphere. The wood-panelled walls, solid oak tables and historic wall paintings make for a uniquely charming setting. The magnificent Kaiserkeller room is perfect for special occasions and group events.
