Glazne Hotel

With the scenic location in the south part of the town of Bansko, along the west bank of the river the hotel is named after, the "Glazne" hotel complex is an oasis of harmony between local habits, comfort and service.

The hotel offers 4 double rooms, 4 luxury double rooms and 8 suites. All rooms offer regular cleaning,night illumination, a radio alarm clock, a living corner with two chairs,a round table and a wardrobe.

The family villas are fascinating for their typical Bansko architecture, while the interior is a perfect combination between modern style and luxury. On the ground floor you have a small tavern, sauna, WC and a bath with shower Going up to the first floor you will find a beautiful furnished living room with soft furniture, a table, a fireplace (firewood is supplied by the hotel), a TV set with satellite channels, a telephone with automatic access to long distance and international lines. In the kitchen, separate from the living room, there are a table and 8 chairs, a refrigerator with mini-bar and other basic cooking facilities. Bedrooms are on the second floor, one of them equipped with a double bed and the other with two separate beds. Each has its own bath with a tube and hairdryer. There are also a toilet table with a mirror and a stool, a TV set with satellite channels, a telephone with automatic access to long distance and international lines, night illumination, a radio alarm clock, a wardrobe, a living corner with two chairs and a round table in each.

The hotel offers restaurant, tavern, lobby bar, sky bar and restaurant-garden (for the summer season only).
The 40-seat restaurant is the perfect place to carry out family and business parties and cocktails. You could try dishes that are traditional for the region and the country, or to choose between classical and exotic game specialties.
The Sky bar offers you its unique atmosphere under the stars and the delight of the coffee specialties and sweets freshly prepared in our own bakery. The perfect place for business cocktails, conferences or just disco parties. It has 60 seats, daylight dimming, flipchart, microphone, two TV sets, multimedia and all other equipment that may be necessary.

Bansko is full of history, culture, tradition and folklore. This magic town is located on the northeast slopes of the Pirin Mountains, there are many leisure activities and excursions in this area. Pirin National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the summer there are many tourism and sporting events, including the International Jazz Fest held between the 8th and the 13th of August.

In the vicinity there is a modern ski centre, as well as several interesting places to visit:

Rila Monastery: this important historical monument is situated in the valley of the Rilska River and has been respected ever since its creation by the Bulgarian rulers.

Rozhen Monastery: with fantastic panoramic views and the grave of a revolutionary, this monastery is definitely worth a visit.

Melnik: the smallest town in Bulgaria is also an architectural reserve and features the famous sand pyramids.

Bansko is situated 170 km from the international airport of Bulgaria's capital city, Sofia. Transfer time is approximately 3 hours. You can reach Bansko either by flying into Sofia airport and driving to the south, or by flying into Thessaloniki(Salonica) in Greece, and driving three hours to the north.
