Ayvalik Museum (8 km) - situated within the old Taksiyarhis church, numerous pieces of art are on display, with emphasis on those with religious subjects.
Seytan Sofrasi (8 km) - known as 'Devil's Table', this hill offers a grand view of Ayvalik, its bay and all of its varied scenery.
Cunda (Alibey) Island (12 km) - reachable via ferry or road, this popular island contains numerous restaurants and picturesque village scenery, including the attractive St. Nikolaus church.

- Take the country road, D550 through Izmir, towards Aliaga.
- Head in the direction of Bergama.
- After 127 km you should reach an intersection.
- Take the left road, towards Dikili and Ayvalik.
- After 42 km, you arrive in Ayvalik.
- Follow signs for Sarimsakli Beach.
Return Airport Shuttle (up to 4 passengers): EUR 120.

Apartments are available and are ideal for families, accommodating up to 4 guests. Extra beds for children can be added to rooms for EUR 10 (subject to availability of suitable rooms).
