Built in 1800, and subsequently enlarged, the property has been the chosen island abode of many an illustrious visitor, from the writer Alberto Moravia to the eminent philosopher Jen Paul Sartre, from Elsa Morante to the unforgettable Prince Antonio De Curtis, better known as Totò.

All rooms open out onto a large private terrace (where breakfast is served), which overlooks the sweet smelling gardens filled with the island’s celebrated lemon trees.
