Clean, spacious rooms. Central location. Pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Late check out on the Sunday-17.00. made the weekend seem to last longer.

Good hotel in excellent location, when you walk in to the hotel it looks very modern, but our room was more olde worldy in decor but still good. The bed was huge, the room was very clean, when we put the do not disturb sign on the door the cleaner came back three times to check if we wanted her to clean. The only downside is the mini bar if you move something out of its place for longer than 10 seconds you get charged. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The location and the staff were excellent.

High standard, perfect location close to the Central station, Great service. Some noise from pubs/ night clubs in the street/ chanal behind the hotel. Very easy to just wheel your suit case from the Central Station, no taxi required.......(But look up for those crazy Dutch bicyklers........)

I usually stayed at the NH hotel in DAM sqaure while visiting Amsterdam . This time I have chosen Barbizon for the rate quoted on the internet and its location as I was travelling by train from Koln . The short stay in the hotel left a very positive impresssion on my 20 year old daughter and myself.
The room facilities . All items of convenience were available.

It was nice, but too expensive! Breakfast should have been included for the price my sister and I paid. It cost us more than $500 U.S. dollars. We stayed at a Mariott and a Hilton while in Europe, their prices were around 109 Euros per night, breakfast included, and they included more amenities. I will not stay at your hotel again should I return to Amsterdam. Our stay at the ACH Leidse Square hotel in Amsterdam was very nice, comfortable, breakfast large and included and will definitely consider them again.
The only good thing was that it is close to the train station.
Overpriced.

This was the 3rd time we had stayed at the hotel. We find the location excellent for getting about, right near the tram terminal. It is within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, night life but also the rooms are quiet when you want to sleep. The staff are always very helpful with directions etc.
