Vale Do Lobo Resort

All clients are issued a Resort Card, entitling them to several benefits and privileges inside Vale do Lobo:

- 50% discount on the Royal and Ocean Golf Course green fees.

- Free and unlimited use of tennis courts at Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy and free access to sauna and gymnasium there.
- Free use of the Vale do Lobo Rotunda swimming pool.
- Discounts on all the restaurants, bars, shops and other facilities within the resort.
- Free use of Vale do Lobo internal shuttle bus.
- Daily maid service.
- A welcome basket with bread, milk, and other essentials.

Apartaments and villas are divided in 3 different categories: standard, superior and deluxe.

Standard properties offer the most basic type of accommodation, while being spacious, comfortable, fully equipped with all functional amenities and enjoying all the benefits of being located within Vale do Lobo.

Superior properties are comfortable and nicely designed, fully equipped with all functional amenities. They are spacious and tastefully decorated, with elegant interiors, and often have private plunge pools or jacuzzis. The properties generally benefit from advantageous locations within the resort, many with beautiful sea views.

Deluxe properties are the ultimate in luxurious accommodation: state-of-the-art villas and apartments, equipped with latest technology and facilities. These properties are the accommodation of choice for discerning clients who wish to treat themselves to stylish decor, modern amenities, a private pool and/or jacuzzi. Situated in prime areas of the resort, their architecture - be it classic or contemporary - takes full advantage of their stunning locations to offer magnificent views of the sea or golf courses.

Over half of the resort’s 15 restaurants are located at the beach side Praça, which is the social hub of Vale do Lobo in the evenings, resonating with the sounds of live music and buzzing with a relaxed atmosphere. The options at the Praça range from the exclusive La Place and Tea House Oriental to pizzeria La Terrazza, Monty´s steakhouse and the more casual dining options of Papagaio, Sandbanks and the Beach Bar, all of which offer children’s menus.

During the day, La Crêperie is a perfect lunch or snack option. In Tennis Valley, Ken Lo´s Memories of China is an ideal dining option for those looking for a quieter environment. Tennis Café, overlooking the courts, does great value chef’s specials at lunchtime, as well as light meals throughout the day. Meanwhile, catering in particular to golfers are Spikes Restaurant and Brasserie in Parque do Golfe and the half-way house, Café Royal.

By Car:
From the Airport:
- On leaving the airport, continue along the exit road heading towards Faro.
- After approximately 2 km, take the right exit signposted Portimão. You will then be driving on the main EN125 road.
- After about 10 minutes, and having past 2 sets of traffic lights, please take the right exit, signposted Almancil.
- Keep following signs for Almancil, which will mean making another right turn about 5 minutes later, then continuing straight ahead.
- At the 2nd set of traffic lights in the town, please take the left lane and turn to the left. The post office (indicated as 'Correios' in red) is on the left-hand side.
- Follow the road for 5 minutes, passing a petrol station (Repsol) on your left-hand side.
- You will then come to a T-junction.
- Take the right, following the signs for Vale do Lobo and continue along the road.
- You will then come to the 1st of 4 roundabouts.
- Continue straight ahead until you reach the 4th, at which, please take the left turn through the entrance arches and follow the signposts for 'Centre'.
- Continue straight ahead (passing through 2 small roundabouts) until you reach a fountain, with a shopping centre on your right-hand side. You have just reached the Vale do Lobo main reception.
