Britannia Hotel Aberdeen

Access to the facilities of the on-site Spindles Health & Fitness Centre is available at an additional cost. Spindles is open every day from 09:00 until 17:00. It is the hotel's policy that all children aged up to 16 years old must be accompanied at all times when visiting Spindles.

The hotel enjoys level access to its entrance, with dropped kerbs, automatic sliding doors and a modified lift to all floors. There are rooms on ground floor fitted with accessible bathrooms and motorised chair lifts into the bath. There is a chair lift to the restaurant, while the bar is crowded but accessible. Braille menus are available. In the health club, constant supervision is available, though unfortunately there is no disabled access to the gym.

With Millers Restaurant, the Britannia Hotel Aberdeen boasts a delightful brasserie-style dining experience with polished wood floors and attractive Scandinavian furniture. Choose from a world of dining on the imaginative à la carte menu, or try one of the chef's daily specials from Scotland's larder of fresh seafood, beef, game and poultry.

Alternatively, the Village Pub Bar is where both residents and locals meet to enjoy their favourite tipple; challenge each other to a friendly game of pool; or join in the regular pub quizzes. The bar is open all day, every day, from 11:00 and serves a great choice of traditional pub food.

By Car:
From the North-West and Aberdeen Airport:
- Follow the signs on the A96 for Aberdeen.
- After the Bucksburn roundabout and immediately after the police station on the right, take the 2nd left junction into Malcolm Road.
- The hotel entrance is the 1st barrier entry on the right.

- Alternatively if you miss this junction, take the next turn left, immediately after the pelican crossing, into Oldmeldrum Road.
- Then take the 1st left into Malcolm Road.

From the South:
- Follow the A90 / A96 signs for Aberdeen Airport.
- After approximately 9.6 km (6 miles), you will approach the busy Haudighan roundabout, coming downhill past a petrol station.
- At the roundabout, turn left, still following the airport signs.
- On entering the 30 mph zone, move across into the right-hand lane.
- Take the filter lane to turn right, just before the pedestrian crossing, into Oldmeldrum Road.
- Turn 1st left into Malcolm Road and the hotel entrance is on the left.

From the North-East and Exhibition Centre:
- Follow the signs for the A92 to Aberdeen.
- At the Exhibition Centre roundabout, turn right, then take the straight through route at the next roundabout onto the Parkway.
- Follow this road for approximately 3.2 km (2 miles).
- At the bottom of the hill, continue straight across the roundabout, to go over the bridge.
- At the roundabout at the end of the bridge, turn right into Mugiemoss Road.
- Continue up this road, until reaching the T-junction with Oldmeldrum Road.
- Turn left at this junction and the hotel is approximately 500 metres along on the right.
- Turn right onto Malcolm Road, and the hotel entrance is 1st left, with car parking on the 2nd left.
